The Starbird Pottery is a one-woman, small-batch pottery studio where I’ve been crafting functional stoneware for over 20 years. Each piece is designed for everyday use, with inspiration drawn from my love of nature and the outdoors. I enjoy adding texture to my work, watching how glaze melts and interacts with the surface—always leaving me surprised by the results of each firing.

What I cherish most is seeing my pottery become part of daily rituals, bridging the connection between maker and user. There’s something grounding in noticing the maker’s hand in an object, a sense of place and belonging that I believe we all seek.
